- Periodically inspect coil condition and conduit connections per facility preventive maintenance intervals. In cold environments, conduit fittings should be inspected for loosening caused by thermal contraction cycles.
- When replacing coils, use only CSA/FM certified replacement coil assemblies of the correct voltage. Substitution with non-certified coils violates NEC 501 and creates an ignition hazard in the classified area.
